Fractional AI Officer · Remote-first

Senior AI leadership, without the full-time hire.

I embed part-time and take the AI side off your plate — finding where it pays off, building it on your own systems, documenting it so it outlasts me. Plain language, clear pricing, nothing locked to me.

Engineering management at Meta/ Founder of CGCircuit/ Clear, upfront pricing
How I charge

No surprise invoices

You see the scope and the price before we start — the pricing option that best fits you and the project — and you approve it before any work begins.

Where it lives

Runs on your systems

Everything runs on your own systems, with the AI provider you choose. You keep control of it start to finish, and when the work is done, it's yours.

How I explain it

Plain language

No acronyms, no buzzwords. If I can't explain what we're building, and why, in words your team already uses, it isn't ready.

What I do

Ways to work together.

Eight services in three depths. A couple of starting points are priced below; I'll share the rest the moment you want the numbers. Start with the smallest step that answers your question, then go further only if it's worth it.

StartLow-commitment ways to begin.

Solo Operator Setup

from $2,500
1 week · for one-person businesses

We take the one task eating your week and hand it to AI, end to end — set up inside the tools you already use, with a short guide so it keeps running after I leave. One reliable workflow beats a shelf of clever tools.

AI Opportunity Audit

from $4,500
2 weeks · written plan

A paid, two-week look at where AI would pay off in your business — and where it wouldn't. You get a short written plan: the highest-value moves in priority order, with rough numbers behind each. Knowing what not to build is half the value.

Team Enablement Workshop

1 day + 30 days of support

A hands-on day that gets your team using AI on their real work, not toy examples. Everyone leaves with prompts built for your business and a month of follow-up while the new habits set.

AI Use Policy

2 weeks · signable document

A short, signable policy for how your team uses AI — what's allowed, what isn't, and how client data stays protected. One page people will read, not twenty they won't.

BuildShip something real, on your own systems.

AI Pilot Build

4–8 weeks · production-ready

One assistant or workflow, built to run in production — on your own systems, with the steps written down, safeguards in place, and your team trained to run it without me. Most AI projects fail by stopping at the demo. This one doesn't.

Marketing Team Activation

2–3 weeks · for marketing teams

A set of AI workflows for content, research, and campaigns, tuned to how your marketing team already works. More output at the same quality, on the tools you have — not another platform to learn.

Searchable Knowledge Base

4–6 weeks · private to you

Everything your business knows, turned into a private assistant that answers in plain language and shows its sources. Your team gets the answer with a citation, so they can trust it instead of guessing.

LeadOngoing AI leadership, without a full-time hire.

Fractional AI Officer

6-month minimum

Some businesses don't need another project. They need someone senior who owns AI and stays accountable for it. I embed part-time and take on your roadmap, your builds, your team's skills, and the guardrails around all of it. Three tiers, sized to what you need.

Foundation

Monthly strategy, standing office hours, and a quarterly review. I answer within a day.

Recommended
Standard

Everything in Foundation, plus real build work each quarter, your AI policy owned and kept current, and vendor management.

Premium

More capacity for bigger builds, faster turnaround, and a quarterly update written for your board or partners.

How it works

Four steps. You can stop after any one of them.

Free call → you own it
Step 1

A free first call

Thirty minutes. You tell me what's slow, expensive, or error-prone. I tell you where AI would help and where it wouldn't. If it wouldn't, I'll say so on the call.

Step 2

A scoped proposal

You get exactly what I'll do and what it costs before anything starts. Often the first step is a short paid audit — a written plan of the two or three highest-value moves, in priority order, so you know what to build first.

Step 3

We build it in the open

The work happens on your own systems. You watch it come together and your team learns it as we go. You stay in control, and nothing is hidden from you.

Step 4

You own it

When it's done, it's all yours — the system, the written steps, the accounts. Keep me on retainer for ongoing help, or run it yourself. Either works.

Who you'd be working with

You work with me directly.

I've built software my whole career, including engineering management at Meta. I'm the founder and principal engineer of CGCircuit, a learning platform I built end to end and still run today. Now I build AI agents and automations full-time.

That mix matters. I've seen the difference between an AI demo that impresses in a meeting and one that holds up in daily use — most projects die in that gap. I take a small number of clients at a time, remotely, so you always deal with me — start to finish, never a handoff.

Straight answers

The questions people actually ask.

How do you charge?
Whatever fits you and the project best — sometimes a single price for the whole job, sometimes a monthly retainer, sometimes a clear estimate or a phased budget when the work is hard to predict. We agree the right one together, in writing, before we start — so you know the cost going in, not when the invoice arrives.
Do we need to be technical?
No. I handle the technical side and explain the rest in plain language. You know your business; my job is to make the AI fit it.
What if it doesn't work?
Every build has written goals we agree on before it starts, and we test against them. If we're not going to hit them, I tell you early — usually at the audit, before you've spent real money on the wrong thing.
Where does the work live, and who owns it?
On your own systems, with the AI provider you choose. You own it and control it. Nothing is tied to me — if we part ways, everything keeps running.
How many clients do you take on?
A few at a time, on purpose. Fractional means part-time and senior. You deal with me directly — start to finish.
